He turn red and nearly dies, but Meg finds his Epi-pen at the last second and inserts into his thigh, saving him. As they eat, Ben has an allergic reaction to slivered nuts in the salad. Gunner, T.J.’s best friend at Kamiak, was also invited to the party. They share a flirty closeness that thrills Meg even as she fights against it. Ben flirts with Minnie on the way to the house as Meg catches up with T.J.
